Navigation will take place on the Venetian Lagoon rather than on the open sea. In comfortable conditions you will sail along the coasts of Pellestrina, the Venetian Lido and the city of Venice, meeting small islands such as Poveglia, San Lazzaro degli Armeni, San Michele in Isola.
Upon arrival in Murano, you will visit a glassblowing workshop where you will learn the art and secrets of Venetian glass making.
The next stop is Burano, an island with colorful houses. You'll stop for about two hours to stroll the streets and squares of this special fishing island, famous for its lace art.
Final visit to Torcello Island, located in the northern part of the lagoon. The island was the first recognized center of the Venetian Lagoon. The foundations of the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta date back to 639. Inside the cathedral you can admire beautiful mosaics depicting the Last Judgment. Nearby is the Church of Santa Fosca, a Romanesque building surrounded by a detailed portico overlooking the square where the famous Throne of Attila is located.
